Windsor is one the very first PVCu suppliers to ensure the raw materials used in our plastic profiles are based on a calcium-zinc chemical stabiliser as standard and thereby avoiding lead throughout the entire manufacturing process.

Today our latest generation of plastic window profiles already satisfy tomorrow’s environmental requirements as well as the EU Environment Commissions’ aim of avoiding lead as a stabiliser in industrial production.

Without the heavy metal lead, special treatments – from the manufacture of raw materials through to recycling of the end product – become superfluous. Moreover, our lead-free windows naturally offer all the classic and economic advantages of plastic as a window material, such as its special durability and long service life, excellent thermal insulation, outstanding weathering resistance and high quality surfaces with silky-matt shine.
